Essentials Mod V4.0 for ETS2 v1.15 and above

Note from the Author:

Mod is finally updated to fully support the 1.15 update. The number of fixes now looks much shorter as I have simplified the list for easier reading.

New features:

Game fixes (EssentialsGameFixes.scs):

AI fixes:

1. Adjusted maximum speed of the DAF XF105 to more realistic values. - It was set to 160 km/h on the original AI files.

2. Adjusted engine torque of Actros, Premium and FH16 2012 to more realistic values. - For the original AI files, the Actros and Premium had their engine torque set to 2500, but there are no engines that supply this exact amount of torque for these trucks. As for the FH16 2012, the original AI files had its torque value set to 2300, which is a torque value produced by the D13C460 engine, which made it a FH instead.

Dealer fixes:

1. XF Original paintjob is now available as stock from the DAF truck dealers.

Truck fixes:

1. Customisation parts are limited to the correct configuration (V8 sideskirts/interior, Volvo roof decals will only be available with the correct engine/cab combination).

2. XF original and Streamline paintjob has been separated into two variants, the original will be offered as stock from the dealer and is not customisable, while the other variant can be purchased at the paint shop, and can be customised.

3. Added 2nd reverse gear to the DAF XF105, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes, Renault and Volvo trucks. - The game now supports the 2nd reverse gear for custom H-shifter layouts, and the new DAF XF in the stock game has a 2nd reverse gear. Since the other truck gearboxes also do have a 2nd reverse gear in real life (except for Scania's Opticruise GRSO925), I have added them to the other trucks.

Real logos (EssentialsRealLogos.scs):

1. Changes Majestic into Mercedes-Benz. - Added real logos for the dealer.

2. Changes Gestone, Continent and Goodyears tires into Bridgestone, Continental and Goodyear tires respectively. - Updated to add support for the Raven rims in the Raven DLC based on the original textures made by zeroniner.

Real logos for High Power Cargo Pack DLC (EssentialsRealLogosHPCPDLC.scs):

Trailers mod (EssentialsTrailers.scs), adds more stock trailers to the game.

1. Adds unused trailer/look variants to the Krone and Schmitz Universal trailers. - Added another 2 variants of the Profiliner (one with original Krone livery and one with companies livery), both of which include a trailer joint originally meant to support a double trailer.

Removed features:

Game fixes (EssentialsGameFixes.scs):

AI fixes:

1. Added more variants of AI trucks (with different cabin and chassis configurations) - Removed due to the new format of the AI trucks used by the game.

2. Adds missing stock exhaust to the AI DAF trucks. - Made obsolete due to the new format of the AI trucks.

3. Adds missing side mirror to the AI Renault, Scania and Volvo trucks. - Made obsolete due to the new format of the AI trucks.

4. Made the MB Actros, Renault Magnum, Renault Premium, Scania R, Scania Streamline and Volvo FH16 traffic trucks use the detailed model when close up like the other trucks. - No longer needed, this was adopted in previous versions of the mod as the lod_01 model of some trucks didn't fully support the configuration parts for the additional traffic trucks added.

Trailer fixes:

1. Made parked trailers use the detailed model instead when close up. - No longer needed, this was adopted in previous versions of the game didn't load the detailed model after picking up the cargo unless the game is restarted.

Game fixes for High Power Cargo Pack DLC (EssentialsGameFixesHPCPDLC.scs):

Trailers mod (EssentialsTrailers.scs):

1. Beverages and Peas cargo are only grouped under Refrigerated and will only use refrigerated trailers, while Packaged Food cargo is only grouped under Containers and will only use container trailers, this is to prevent non-refrigerated trailers from showing under Refrigerated and vice versa. - Removed due to new format of cargo definition files.
